Returns and Refunds Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. Introduction

This policy explains how returns, refunds and purchase-related enquiries are handled for publications produced by Rhubarb Bridge Ltd.

Our books are distributed through established publishing and retail platforms, including Amazon, IngramSpark distribution channels, Google Books and participating booksellers.

Rhubarb Bridge Ltd does not currently operate a direct online book checkout through www.rhubarbbridge.com.

2. Books Purchased Through External Retailers

Where a paperback, hardback or ebook has been purchased through a third-party retailer, the purchase agreement is normally between the customer and that retailer.

Requests involving returns, refunds, cancellations, damaged deliveries, missing items or incorrect orders should therefore be directed to the original seller.

The applicable return conditions will depend on the retailer's policies and any statutory rights available to the purchaser.

3. Damaged or Defective Books

If a publication arrives damaged, contains a manufacturing defect or is materially different from the product ordered, customers should contact the retailer from whom it was purchased.

The retailer is normally responsible for arranging an appropriate remedy in accordance with the purchase contract and relevant consumer protection law.

Rhubarb Bridge Ltd welcomes notification of suspected printing or production defects so that recurring issues can be investigated with the relevant production or distribution provider.

4. Previous Direct Digital Purchases

Customers who previously purchased digital publications directly from Rhubarb Bridge Ltd may contact us concerning access problems, corrupted files, incorrect editions or other product defects.

We will investigate the issue and provide an appropriate remedy where required under the original purchase agreement and applicable consumer protection legislation.

Statutory cancellation and refund rights remain applicable where they have not lawfully expired or been waived.

5. Incorrect Publication Information

If a book listing contains an apparent error involving its title, ISBN, edition, description or format, please contact us.

We will review the information and, where appropriate, notify the relevant retailer, distributor or bibliographic information provider.
